What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday | 193

by Tammy on February 13, 2013

Welcome to another workdesk Wednesday, where crafters from all over the world join Julia over at the Stamping Ground and share a peek at their workspace. Join in the fun and to go from desk to desk to see what everyone is working on.

Today my Silhouette is working hard:

Nothing particularly crafty today. Just cutting. Paper cutting, that is.

I usually only get my Silhouette out when I have at least 3 or 4 projects I want shapes or titles for. I have a specific layout in mind and needed some butterflies in a specific color and a title to match. And I might as well cut some 3×4 frames I designed with various shapes and phrases from the Silhouette online store for my Project Life album. I’m also cutting out some large shapes that I’m going to challenge myself to figure out how to use. If I like the result, there may a post on it in the future.

And you may notice there are still a few layouts left in my unfinished pile that I shared a few weeks ago. (You can barely see them at the top of the photo – but they are there!) I am making progress. Slowly, but they are getting done!

If you want to see more creative — messy and clean and everything in between — desks just click here!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Those Silhouettes really seem to earn their keep, everyone I know who has one loves it. The cut outs look great. When Di told me the flowers were in a shoe box I honestly thought she was joking! I never expected to receive that many, but I hope to put them to good use!

My cricut is always out…but I too will do many cuts at one time. Do you have to use cartridges with the silhouette? #101

Love what you are making with the die cute machine, great images. I have a cricut but never use it. I wonder if they make these type of designs for it? THanks for stopping by my blog. Barb

Your frames look cool! I tend to avoid using my silhouette when I only have one little thing to do too – prefer to plan and cut around 3 projects each time – Hope you have fun figuring out how to use the shapes ;)

I love all things Silhouette! So far I’ve just cut for specific projects, no batch cutting.

It looks like it would be fun just to play with the Silhouette! I’ll be waiting to see how you incorporate some of those.

I’m lovin my Silhouette too. Although I’m having a little issue with my mat loading correctly. :-( But I’m sure it will be worked out. :-)

I am soo late commenting – I hear so much about the Silhouette but I am still an old school crafting gal! Maybe some day I will change my ways!
