What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday | 182

It’s Wednesday and that means crafters all over the world are linking up with Julia at the Stamping Ground to share a peek at their crafty (messy and not-so-messy) desks. If you’ve never snooped before, you should check it out here!

Today, I present Project Life Update central:

I do not update my Project Life album every week like so many do. I only print my photos a couple of times a year (unless I need something quick and then I do a few prints at home) so I tend to update only when I have the prints in hand. I’ve been neglecting this album and with December right around the corner, it was time for an update.

And speaking of December:

Lot’s of old stuff here. I’m not much of a seasonal scrapper so I don’t use up my Christmas stuff like I should. (So I don’t buy much Christmas or Winter anymore.)ย Because I do have a Project Life album, I no longer do a separate December Daily album.

I have gathered all of my Christmas supplies and I will pre-plan my December pages in my Project Life album this week. I picked up some new varieties of page protectors so I’ll be mixing in different sizes. It will be a fun mish-mash!

So what are you working on today?

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. You’re so organized, Tammy! I like the idea of Project Life vs. December Daily. Seems like less pressure (at least for me).

  5. It is looking very busy there. I too have pushed my Project aside (all the way out of the studio, in fact), but I’m hoping that as soon as my cards are done I can actually tackle all the pictures and mementos I have been diligent about collecting at least. All in good time is what I am telling myself.

  7. Lots of pretty paper & supplies on your workdesks today! I’ve just finished a couple of layouts that I had pulled photos for earlier this month, but now I’m on to scrapping Christmas. I’m not doing a December Daily or anything like that, but I have lots of photos from previous holidays and thought it would be fun to scrap those this month!

  8. Do you keep all of your holiday theme in storage boxes? I have been working on organizing and was thinking about doing that but have not gotten that far yet.

    Thanks for sharing!

    • Yes! Christmas/Winter fills up two boxes. I also have a box for Halloween/Fall. It’s easier to just keep all the paper and embellishments together. Makes it easy when I want to work on a theme page – just pull the box and it’s all together. ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. What a fun look today!! I planned a PL update tomorrow ๐Ÿ™‚ What are the die cut cards in the bottom right of the first picture? I think they’re green and black? Loving all the Christmasy colored stuff! Doesn’t matter when you picked it up, it all looks great!

    • Becky, I cut those with the Silhouette. They are shapes available in the Silhouette store. One is a diamond pattern and the other is a polaroid frame. As far as Christmas – it would be silly to keep buying stuff when I don’t really use it much. LOL. That is the good thing about Christmas – as long as it’s red and green, doesn’t how old it is, it’s all good! ๐Ÿ™‚
