Updates From My Craftroom

I couldn’t get these photos up in time for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday (story of my life these days) but they do offer proof that there is some creating going on, even though it’s not happening at my usual pace.

I have a couple of layouts in progress, one has been waiting for stickles to dry, the other is waiting for a photo to be taken.

I also have a few cards in progress, thanks to Holiday Card Boot Camp. Mmmm, you might think that projects are not getting finished because I’m already starting something new before I finish the last project. Well, when I’m waiting for stickles to dry, I might as well do some heat embossing! It’s really more like multi-tasking.

And for my biggest update this week — I’ve taken my house off the market…briefly. Since I can’t seem to sell it for the price I need, I have to switch gears and try to find someone to rent it. I found a new agent that can keep it for sale while we search for a qualified tenant. She’s got some ideas to help stage the house better. It will go back on the market after Thanksgiving and we’ll see if we can find that elusive buyer in the next two months.

But either way, it WILL be sold or it will be rented by the end of February, because come March, I am going home to Florida.

Thanks for stopping by today. Paper crafting projects will return next week!

  5. Thanks for the peeks! Glad you can still squeeze in some crafting. I tried to put Stickles on a snowflake yesterday, what a disaster. I’m thinking the snowflake was just too small. I bet it feels good to have a plan in place and a time line. Now we’ll hope you have a mild winter…..

  9. Good luck with the house!!

I love multitasking too… That’s the hardest part about my new job in an office, I can’t do a lot of things at the same time! Oddly enough, I’ve never really applied it to scrapbooking… I think I usually start a load of laundry or vacuum a room while it dries… But I’d rather have your ability!

And this stamp is sooo beautiful!

Can’t wait to see the results 🙂
