This Month In Photos | November 2012

Just a quick selection of photos from the past month:

I didn’t make it to 50,000 words in NaNoWriMo this month, but I’m still writing!

This guy surprised me on my scrapbook table. Scared him away trying to catch him.

Then, I saw THIS in the bushes right outside my front door. Awesome. NOT.

Brand new sculptures at a new section of The Villages near where my folks live.

Thanksgiving weekend movie going.

Holiday shopping. It’s here!

Holiday baking! And yes, I bake from mixes. I cheat and I’m totally OK with that!

Score at the HSN outlet. $120 worth of Martha punches for $30? Yes, please!

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. That little guy on your craft table had me saying “oh my” out loud when I saw him and then…that bigger guy had me saying “eek”. Have fun with your new punches!

    • That is FL for you! The lizards do not bother me at all – but I wish they wouldn’t come in the house. The snakes…well, my Dad insists this one is not poisonous and eats rodents and critters so it’s a good thing. Um….if you say so…

  2. Oh my gosh, I’m trying to get over the lizard and snake to enjoy the holiday photos and punches you scored, but I just can’t!!!! 🙂

    • In all my years in FL I have never seen a snake like this, just popping out of the bushes. I had to get a photo. I’ve always known they are there; I would see the skins in my hibiscus bushes, like they use the branches to help them shed them. It was kind of a wild moment!

  3. My daughter didn’t make her 50,000 words for nanowormo either. But got writers block for a few days…then tried to make up for it.
Looks like your scrapin buddy lost part of his tail…did he get to close to your paper trimmer, lol.
    Great photos again 🙂

    • I don’t know what happened to it. I finally spied it on the floor right by the door so I was able to shoo it outside. Lizards are just part of life here but I prefer them outside, not on my crafting table! 🙂

  4. When I see Christmas displays like that at the store, I pretty much want to buy everything even though I have no room for it.

  5. Your little lizard had half a tail. I can see the layout title “unwanted critter”.

While at Wal Mart yesterday I saw that you can print your photos from your phone!! or in my case I made a disk so I can print them from home or in the one hour for less.

    I want a HSN outlet!!! 🙂
