I have a quick layout to share today.
I had these great photos of my nephew enjoying his favorite summer treat: lemon ice.
I knew I wanted to use this fun title card from the 100 Days of Summer collection and from there, the layout was born. I started with a Starting Point from Shimelle for the background, but my cards were different sizes so I changed it up from there. I needed some more color so I grabbed a 6×6 paper pad with some subtle prints. The yellow and aqua in the background help ground that cluster of cards in the bottom right to the background.
I went through my stash and pulled out some old sticker collections that included more of that lemon motif. I also pulled in some black with some brads and the twine. A few strategically placed yellow candy dots pulled everything together!
There are three different paper collections here Bo Bunny’s Ad Lib, Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer and Echo Park’s Paradise Beach. Don’t be afraid to mix your manufacturers! The colors in the papers to do not match 100%, but the tones are similar and that makes it work.
Other: Bo Bunny’s Ad Lib collection, Pebbles Candy Dots, Little Yellow Bicycle journaling card, sticker sheets from Little Yellow Bicycle and K&Co, Text Thickers, Making Memories flower brads, Michael’s bling.
Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?
Thanks for stopping by today!
