Fall is finally here in Tennessee. A cold front swept through yesterday and we had some dreary clouds and rain so it actually feels like fall. The trees are turning and I’m going to have to add raking the leaves to my list of errands this weekend. While the holidays are coming closer, it’s feeling a little unreal to me. My house is still for sale so I can’t really put up all the holiday decorations I usually do.
So, I’ll have to turn to my scrapbooking to get my seasonal fix. I thought these photos were the perfect way to get into the Halloween spirit.
These photos may be a few years old, but I will always get around to scrapping the photos I love. Eventually. Gotta love the look on my nephew’s face! His expression pretty much shares exactly how I feel about the pumpkin guts too. Gross! But it’s a necessary part of the process if you want to carve pumpkins.
Most of the papers came from a blog giveaway I won (Thanks again, S!). They are from the Eerie line from Basic Grey from a few years ago. Most of my holiday and seasonal papers are packed right now (am I EVER going to sell this house??? Sigh.) so this was a welcome surprise!
I really wanted to keep the photos together in a row to show the progression from ooo, this is fun to omg this is soooo gross but cool at the same time!
The Bingo card provided the perfect spot to cluster some embellishment. Originally I only had the one large cluster, but the rest of the page looked a little empty. I took another doily, cut it in half and voila, two more places for more embellishments. The stars and gems worked perfectly. I had to force myself to stop at that point.
Luckily, I did keep out some of my Halloween embellishments so I could use them this season. Since a lot of these products are older or came from a giveaway, I can’t give a complete supply list but below are the few things are available.
So, have you been catching up on scrapping your Halloween photos?
Thanks for stopping by today!
