New Scrapbook Products and Mid Season Releases

Happy Sunday! Are you having a good weekend? I spent most of the day in my craft room creating some fun projects. Working with pretty paper always makes me happy. It almost makes me forget how far behind I’m getting. Not in scrapbooking, in everything.

There are 14 programs in my DVR that I haven’t watched. There’s a movie from Netflix that I didn’t watch this weekend. I had a meal planned that never got cooked. I can’t keep up with by book club reading anymore. I’ve barely had time to check out blogs and all my favorite scrapbooking sites this week. I haven’t been scrapbooking much because I have to put everything away (because the house is for sale and nothing can be left out, just in case there is a showing). I could go on, but it’s too depressing.

But that’s how life goes. Sometimes it all works out as planned and other times, you hang on by a thread. That’s me right now. But I have a steady (temporary) job at the moment so I’m not complaining. It’s just something I need to adjust for and get used to. But it’s a good thing I have income right now. As I was catching up on blogs this morning, I realized how many companies have mid season releases right now.

So, as I try to catch up with some of these DVR programs, I thought I’d share a few of my favorites:

1. My Mind’s Eye Fun Day.

Another gorgeous line on kraft paper. Stop the madness! I just can’t resist the kraft so I’m sure this collection will find its way into my craft room eventually.

2. Echo Park Times and Seasons.

I’m in love with this color palette. Blues and greens and reds with black. More doilies and flags. I could totally do without the mustache paper, so it’s a good thing the B side is pretty!

3. For the love of Thickers.

American Crafts is at it again with new Thickers. Occasionally I wonder if I will ever get a point to where I have too many Thickers. Nope. Not yet.

4. Ranger’s Limited Edition Distress Inks by Tim Holtz.

I usually love limited editions and special colors, but I really didn’t think I needed these. Until I watched this video. In it, Tim shows how these three colors differ from the existing colors. I turned into a believer. Leave it to Tim Holtz to enable me again. And lucky for all of us, they are back in stock here. Tim mentioned on Ranger’s blog that limited edition winter colors will be released on November 1st. Can you stand it?

5. Bo Bunny Snowfall.

OK, I’m not crazy about the subject matter. Snow and I do not get along. But this paper so pretty, I might just need to make a few more winter pages before I go back to the Sunshine state for good. I adore the blues and browns.

What new products are you loving right now?

Thanks for stopping by!

    • I know I can’t get enough of the kraft! 🙂 Things aren’t that bad, they just aren’t where I want them to be and I have nothing better to do than complain. Sad, I know! But I had a 2nd showing on the house tonight….fingers crossed.

    • I have deleted a few things I don’t care about but I can’t delete Grey’s Anatomy or the Good Wife. But I’m having a hard time keeping up. When I move, I’m going to work hard to find a place with an open floor plan so that my DVR can been seen from the kitchen and from the scrap area so I can actually watch stuff when I’m in the two places I spend the most time. I’m rarely ever actually on the couch! I could lug it upstairs to my craft room, but that’s just too hard… LOL.

  5. I’m trying to stay away from new products right now and use some of my stash. I am hoping to meet up with a new scrapping friend soon at our local scrapbook store, so that may change things. :>)

Sounds like it’s a busy time right now. I can definitely relate to adjusting to a new schedule. Hang in there!
