PTI Button Boutique Card Set

Welcome!

I can’t believe it’s already Friday. This week cruised right on by. I worked a lot of hours at my part time job and I’m dead tired. I’m really looking forward to some down time and lots of crafting this weekend!

Today I’ve got a fun card set I created with the super cool Button Boutique stamp set from Papertrey Ink (PTI). I picked these up a few weeks ago. It’s the first time I’ve worked with PTI stamps and I really love them. There is so much variety with this set.

Supplies: Cardstock – Core’dinations Tim Holtz Distress Collection, Bazzill white OP texture, basic card base. Tools – PTI Button Boutique stamps and dies, Tim Holtz Stormy Sky, Dried Marigold, Dusty Concord and Bundled Sage distress inks, Colorbox black ink, TPC Greetings stamps, Cuttlebug. Embossing folders – Lifestyle Crafts Diamonds and Dots, Cuttlebug Birds & Swirls, Swiss Dot and Victoria. Embellishments – various buttons and ribbons.

I definitely channeled Jennifer McGuire when I created these cards. It’s so easy to create a set like this with the same design because you can work in assembly line fashion. By using different sentiments on each card, you have something that fits a variety of occasions. I used my Fiskars stamp press to ensure perfect stamping placement.

I love that Papertrey offers coordinating universal dies that can be cut with portable die cut machines like the Cuttlebug and the BigShot. When you buy both the stamp and the die, you’ll always be able to create the perfectly sized die cut flower for the flower stamp. Or in this case, the perfectly sized button card for the button card outline stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a fantastic weekend!

  1. Great cards Tammy! I know what you mean about work tiring you out – we are adjusting to Robbie’s work schedule and all that getting up early is wearing me out (and I’m not even working LOL)!

  4. I love your cards. You can make a lot in a short amount of time, and they still look like you spent a lot of time on them.
    Love the colours as well.
