One Little Word | 2012

Are you playing along in 2012 with a word of your own? Ali Edwards introduces 2012’s word here. She also teaches a class, One Little Word 2012 at Big Picture Classes.

I just signed up to take the class again for 2012. I really enjoyed it, even though I was a total fail at following through with the project. When I had to pack up my craft room, many of my ongoing projects had to be packed too.

Not only was I a fail at the project, but my word didn’t quite fit with my strange year. When the year started, I was still contemplating staying in Tennessee and praying that a job would come along. But by April, my course was set and I was on my way to Florida. And the rest of the year has been a test in patience. Patience would have been a much better word for 2011.

My word for 2012 has already found me and I didn’t even need to think about it.

Profound, don’t you think? I am going to move to another state this year. I need to keep up with my exercise and move more. I also need to move on, close this chapter of my life in Tennessee and be ready for what is waiting for me down the road.

So many possibilities for 2012!

What’s your One Little Word for 2012?

I also did not complete the project. Funny how life throws you off the track now and again! I figure I will just focus on my regular album this coming year.
