My Winter 2011 CHA Favorites

Don’t you love it when life gets in the way? This week has been crazy busy for me. The grand plans for certain posts to be prepared and to go up this week have not happened. Hopefully this weekend I’ll be able to catch up.

In the mean time, I’m still riding the CHA high, watching more videos and dreaming of new product. I’ve been sharing trends but today I’m going to share the products I’m really looking forward to, the things I’ll be looking for in the stores.

I love the colors and combos in this collection.  I’m also really drawn to the funky damasks and the really cool graph paper. In this collection I also love the Woolies and the Pops stickers. Throughout CHA, I didn’t see many new offerings where I want the entire collection, but I may need all of Hello Luscious.

And this:

I love all the vintage images in this For the Record collection from Echo Park. The colors are beautiful and patterns are all pretty cool. This one looks like a winner to me!

This is another collection I’m really drawn to. Maybe it’s because I lived in Orlando for so many years. I love the sunshine yellow and beachy theme. Really fun. And I’m especially looking forward to these:

I’m loving the new saturated chalk colors from Tattered Angels. Especially Inchworm. I’m so ready for winter to be over so this pretty green is really calling out to me. Apricot too is a pretty spring color too.

This new alphabet and sticker collection from The Girl’s Paperie, Jubilee looks fun. I may not get too many of the other things from this line, but these look versatile. I love all the sticker words included.

And last, but certainly not least, I can’t wait for these:

I’m so glad We R Memory Keepers are adding new stitches for the Sew Easy. I also love the addition of the bakers twine in happy colors.

There are a few other things I’ll be looking for – both of the kids lines from Crate Paper and the Stella & Rose collection from My Mind’s Eye.

Which product are you really looking forward to?

  1. Thanks for sharing the new products. I do have a question how do you use the chalk colors? Maybe you can help me out here 🙂

  2. The chalk colors are made by Tattered Angels. They make glimmers mists that you can spray onto paper or material that you want to recolor. Say you have a white Prima flower and you want it to be orage to match your layout. You can spay on the mists to recolor the flower. Typically the mists are see through, when you spray it and it dries, you can still see what’s underneath. The chalk colors are more opaque and you get a deeper coverage and you don’t have to spray them 3 or 4 times to get a richer saturation.

  3. Great picks, all stuff I can’t wait to get my hands on, too! Did you see some of the new BG lines have a new embellishment pack called Petals? Lets you layer and custom build your own flower design. Way cool.

    • Oh, yes! Thanks for reminding me. So many products to keep track of! LOL I’m anxious to see what kind of fabric they used. They do look really cool. 🙂
