Looking For Inspiration? Try An Online Crop!

Well. I had plans for a ย great post on Thursday. But it didn’t get written.

Don’t you love it when life gets in the way? Something came up. A possible employment opportunity locally. I had about given up on finding a full time corporate job in real estate in Tennessee. If the perfect job hasn’t come up in the two years of my unemployment adventure, I assumed it never would. I was planning to sell my house and move back to Florida to regain my career.

Maybe it’s all about timing.

After logging hours in at my part time job, I spent my free time this week researching and applying for a couple of jobs that came up out of nowhere. I missed my crafting time, but if it means a stable income, it’s worth it, right? I’m keeping an open mind. I still need to sell this house, but I’m open to staying in Tennessee for a good job. Wish me luck.

In other news… I’m excited to see that Shimelle is hosting an online crop this weekend. It’s free and everyone is invited. Because I had to pack up my craft room recently, I’m looking for ideas to help me use up all the products I didn’t pack. It looks like there will be challenges, mini lessons, give aways and special offers. I’m always inspired by Shimelle’s videos and lessons. Are you planning to join in the fun?

Have a great weekend!

    • Thanks Sue. The funny thing is, for the first 10 years of my career, it was that straight arrow! I know it’ll probably never be that good again, but I’d be happy with anything at this point.

  5. Oh Tammy – sending prayers your way for the perfect job in the right place, and a buyer, too. I haven’t had time to join in Shimelle’s fun, but I’ve set aside some time tomorrow (Monday) to scroll through the posts & challenges to see what I might want to try. BTW-my hubby’s job just went full-time this week after three months of part-time. We are so excited to be completely settled now! Hang in there – your time is coming, I can just feel it.

    • Thank you Melissa. I’m definitely ready to catch a break! I’ve been following along with a few of the challenges. Hope to get some things posted this week! But I had a showing on the house late this afternoon so I had to put everything away. Not good for the creativity, but good for the greater cause. ๐Ÿ™‚
