Inspired By | Current Obsessions

As I was looking through one of my Pinterest boards and came across a layout that really inspired me.

I love the play of color with the red, pink, yellow and blue combination and the list on quick journaling strips. I realized it’s been awhile since I’ve done a currently layout, so current obsessions it is!

Here’s my take using this page as inspiration:

Featured supplies: Dear Lizzy Noteworthy, Pretty Poppies, Wild Hearts, American Crafts Jute and Salmon glitter.

The actual design is very different, but I did incorporate the color combination and the journaling strips. I used some of the new Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm collection from American Crafts. I’m really loving navy right now so I used the navy floral paper in the background. I didn’t have a light pink Thicker number that would work on this page. Instead, I used up a set of numbers I did have on hand, covered them in glue and sprinkled on some pretty pink glitter. I got the soft pink color I was after and used up my stash at the same time.

I kept the embellishments pretty simple. Just a few flowers, some chevron strips and some navy jute.

What are you currently obsessing over?

Thanks for stopping by today!
