Happy Thanksgiving | 2012

This week we are celebrating Thanksgiving in the United States.

I am grateful that I’m back in Florida so that I do not have to travel to spend the holiday with my family and our extended family guests!

And now a card to share (design inspired by Jennifer McGuire’s card pinned here):

I was super excited to see some new Cuttlebug embossing folders recently! I purchased a set that included the two backgrounds in the cards above, along with two other quatrefoil patterns. I also saw fun chicken wire, hexagon and zig zag patterns. But I will have to save them for another shopping day!

I am a big fan of embossing on white cardstock. It’s subtle but makes a big impact. I used my Silhouette to cut out the leaf shapes and backed them with some paper from a 6×6 paper pad. Super simple, yet easy to modify to suit your needs.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Wishing you and yours a blessed Thanksgiving!
