Just a super quick post today. I wanted to share a fun layout I created with one of my favorite photos of my nephews. There is no big story here. Just a snapshot taken while we were waiting in line for a ride at Universal Studios here in Orlando. They were sipping a refreshing beverage and being their usual charming selves.
Most of the supplies on this layout came in my February Scraptastic kit. I have really enjoyed getting a kit these past months. When my Cocoa Daisy subscription ended, I looked at some different clubs and ended up with Scraptastic. What sold me is you get to pick between two different kits each month. I was thrilled to see papers from Echo Park’s That’s My Boy collection. Perfect for nephew photos.
There were also pieces from the Simple Stories Daily Grind collection and October Afternoon’s Daily Flash. I cut some speech bubbles from the Daily Flash Snapshots paper and added them around the photo. I didn’t have a lot of journaling, so this little journaling spot was perfect. I added their initials to the Daily Grind tag with a chipboard heart from my stash. I layered up a few die cuts to point down to the title, which is a mix of Thickers and my very favorite Doodlebug cursive font.
Love how this layout turned out and I’m absolutely thrilled with this kit purchase. I have already made my selection for March. Can’t wait to keep these Scraptastic kits coming.
Thanks for stopping by today!
